Job Title: Director of Sales for the dual: Hotel Indigo and Hotel Even

Job Summary: The Director of Sales is responsible for driving revenue growth and maximizing the hotel's market share through effective sales strategies, relationship management, and team leadership. This role involves overseeing the sales team, developing and executing sales plans, and collaborating with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Strategy Development:

    • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
    • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth.
  2. Team Leadership:

    • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and collective goals.
    • Conduct regular training and performance evaluations to enhance team effectiveness.
  3. Client Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and corporate accounts.
    • Attend industry events and networking functions to promote the hotel and establish new contacts.
  4. Budgeting and Reporting:

    • Prepare and manage the sales budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
    • Provide regular reports and analysis on sales performance to senior management.
  5. Collaboration:

    • Work closely with marketing, revenue management, and operations to ensure alignment of sales strategies.
    • Participate in the development of promotional campaigns and packages.
  6. Sales Forecasting:

    • Monitor and analyze sales forecasts to ensure accurate reporting and planning.
    • Adjust strategies as needed based on market conditions and performance metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • Proven experience in hotel sales, with a minimum of [5-7] years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of hotel operations and revenue management principles.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Work Conditions:
